The Nice Man Cometh. A unique look at the 2004 Democratic Presidential Primary through the eyes of a formerly homeless man.
—Awarded “Best Documentary” at the 2005 CheapShot LA Film/Video Festival. Official selection for the 2005 Carolina Film and Video Festival, 2005 Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, and the 2006 Eugene Film Festival. Screened as part of UNH Center for Humanities Documentary Film Series in 2004 and at the New School for Social Research (New York) summer “Documentary Camp” in 2005. Clips of the film are featured in a video essay titled “One Story High” in the on-line journal Fast Capitalism, Issue 6.1, 2009.
The Little Prince. A 2001 portrait of “Fenyo,” a street philosopher born in the United States and living in Budapest.
—Awarded a “Commendation” at the 2002 Guernsey Lily International Film and Video Festival (Channel Islands). Screened as part of the “Persistence of Vision” series at the Boston Film/Video Foundation, 2002.
Under Bright Light. (with Mitchell Rosenzweig). A chronicle of the 1995 Golden Gloves National Tournament, a six-day event where over 300 boxers participated, hoping to land invitations to the 1996 Olympic trials.
